On Monday, Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt landed in Washington D.C. ahead of the EU-USA Summit on 3 november. With a recent climate agreement between the EU heads of state and government in the bag, Mr Reinfeldt is meeting President Obama to find out the USA’s position on the climate change issue. Urgent issues such as Iran, Afghanistan and the economic crisis will also be addressed at the Summit. Here, Prime Minister Reinfeldt comments on the upcoming negotiations.
