Education, Youth and Culture Council
On 26-27 November, the Education, Youth and Culture Council meets in Brussels. One of the main items on the agenda is a debate on the digitisation of cultural content in Europe, in particular books, against the backdrop of the agreement in the USA on Google Books. The ministers will also discuss how higher education in the EU can be improved. The Council meeting will be chaired by Minister for Education Jan Björklund, Minister for Higher Education and Research Tobias Krantz, Minister for Culture Lena Adelsohn-Liljeroth and Minister for Integration and Gender Equality Nyamko Sabuni.
