On 1–2 October, EU finance ministers and central bank governors will gather for an informal meeting in Göteborg. Their discussions will focus on how the EU countries can restore good order in the public finances when the need for support measures recedes. Another issue on the agenda is how to design a framework to prevent such a widespread crisis happening again. Attention will also be given to climate change and how measures to reduce emissions are to be financed. The last day to apply for accreditation is 29 September.
