The Presidency of the European Union condemns today's attacks in Baghdad, including near the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, in which at least 75 people have lost their lives, as well as the bombings that have taken place over the last couple of weeks at various locations in Iraq. 

The Presidency conveys its condolences to the families and friends of the victims of these brutal acts and hopes for a speedy recovery for those injured. The Presidency expresses its sympathies with the Iraqi Government and people at this difficult time.
